Prophecies Regarding the 'End of Times'

Christ's Prophecies
(False Christs and False Prophets)

    I will explain in detail chapter twenty four of the book of Matthew taken from the Bible, regarding the prophetic signs of what Christ called the 'End of Times'. We can also find very similar data in the books of Mark, chapter thirteen, versicles one through thirty seven, and in the book of Luke, chapter twenty one, versicles six to thirty six.

    1 Jesus left the temple and was walking away, when His disciples came up to Him to call his attention to its buildings.

    2 Do you see all these things? He asked. I tell you the truth, not one stone here will be left on another; every one will be thrown down. Christ was trying to tell people that a new era would arise in the future and that great spiritual changes would take place and the real spiritual knowledge would be brought to Earth. Religions and the old spiritual systems and traditions, all would come to an end.

    3 As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately. Tell us, they said, when will this happen, and what will be the sign of your coming and the end of the age?

    4 Jesus answered: Watch out that no one deceives you.

    5 For many will come in my name, claiming, I am the Christ and will deceive many. In the present era, we are experiencing this great problem. A few examples of destructive doomsday cults, whose leaders claimed to be Christs or messengers of God, are the following: Jim Jones and the 'People's Temple'; 'Aum Shinri Kyo' sect leaded by Shoko Asahara; Marshall Herff Applewhite and Bonnie 'Ti' Lu Trusdale Nettles and the 'Heaven's Gate'. There are many cults, religions and religious sects around the World, whose leaders claim to be the incarnation of a Great Soul such as Christ, Buddha, Krishna, or simply an incarnation of a 'savior' of humanity. Some of these pseudo prophets are having internal visions, but this information is coming from souls dwelling in relatively low spiritual planes of existence, such as saints, bodhisattvas, devas, angels, etc. These souls can disguise themselves so that the 'spiritual leader' can see them as highly evolved spirits with great light and power. Even they can manifest themselves with the form of any spiritual master they wish, such as Jesus, Buddha, Krishna, etc. The information received creates havoc and confusion in the followers of these 'religious movements'. In the Bible, in the first epistle to Timothy, we can find in chapter four, versicle one, that Paul wrote the following regarding false doctrines, 'Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils'.

    6 You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not

alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. It is incredible that in a period of only eighty years, the inhabitants of this planet have exterminated over one hundred and twenty million of their fellow men. This is equivalent to the killing of the present combined populations of England, Ireland, Wales, Scotland, Belgium, Holland, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland and East Germany. Approximately one hundred million dollars are being spent each hour over the whole World on weapons and military equipment, which unfortunately maintain a divided World immersed in chaos.

    7 Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. Famines and pestilences are characteristic of our times. There have been great numbers of deaths, especially of the young because of famine and at times this problem reaches stunning proportions: forty thousand babies starve to death every day. (Time Magazine, p. 66, 1/2/89). There have always been plagues, but they do seem to be increasing in our times. Cancer is an ever-growing threat, due basically to an excess of stress in our lives and also to the constant violation of the Laws of Nature; AIDS is a new mortal disease and so far there is no cure for this plague. UNAIDS and WHO estimate that over thirty million people are living with HIV infection at the end of 1997. Alzheimer's is a new, incurable ailment of the elderly. New frightful epidemics have appeared such diseases as the Ebola, which can quickly destroy whole towns. Terrifying reports are

surfacing of a rare flesh-eating streptococcal disease, which disfigures or even kills its victims in a matter of hours. Resistant strains of 'conquered diseases' such as tuberculosis are now reappearing. Bacteria have evolved invulnerability to potent drugs that once tamed them, resurrecting the possibility of untreatable plagues. The misuse and overuse of antibiotics by physicians and the public, is alarmingly decrementing its effectiveness. I, Carlos Guzmán, have had spiritual visions telling me that new incurable diseases are yet to come.

    8 All these are the beginning of birth pains. Mother Earth is going to give birth to a humankind with new spiritual force. Navajyothisri Karunakara Guru in Pothencode, Kerala, South India, prophesied long time back that some babies are being born since 1973 with a new spiritual strength and purity. From that year onwards, every twelve years newborns will incarnate with even more spiritual energy than its predecessors. I can perceive through spiritual visions, that the DNA or genetic code is changing in humans. Humanity is going through a radical change physically and spiritually.

    9 Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me. Whenever highly evolved souls try to transmit spiritual knowledge, evil forces automatically create obstacles in the path of those Great Souls and their followers. Such are the cases of devotees of Jesus, Buddha, Rama, Mohammed, Adi Shankara and many other Great Souls.

    10 At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate

each other. This is a common problem nowadays because of the ego that governs us and also the increase of darkness in us.

    11 and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. A detailed explanation is found in versicle five of this chapter.

    12 because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold. We can find this wickedness growing in all our hearts and minds in the whole World. We have lost our moral values; we can find in Internet the spreading of darkness, through thousands of sites regarding Satanism, obscene sexual material, homosexuality, orgies, etc., inducing society to sexual deviations and sex abuse. Unmarried mothers are as common as drinking coffee. Sex without love and divorces are common matters in this era. Nearly 1.2 million American marriages were dissolved by the courts in 1994, triple the 1960 figure. Experts predict that nearly half of all new marriages will end in separation or divorce. Source: Los Angeles Times, 5/27/96, page A16. There is a devastating effect of the separation or divorce in the whole family. A 1988 study by the National Center for Health Statistics in the United States, found that children in single parent families, including those whose parents never married, are more likely to drop out of high school, become pregnant as teenagers, abuse drugs and get into trouble with the law than those living with both parents.     In 1993, social scientist Nicholas Zill, reported that children of divorced parents are, regardless of their economic circumstances, twice as likely as others to have poor relationships with their parents, drop out of high school and receive psychological help –quoted in The Los Angeles Times, 5/27/96, page A16.

    The divorce statistics are alarming and they show us that a great problem is abiding within ourselves: EGOCENTRISM. Love and humility in our social relationships have been dramatically eclipsed. Also we can see that the increase in the divorce rate is due to other factors, such as an increase in stress in our society, the loss of moral values, corrupt politicians permitting the proliferation of obscene publications, dirty movies, etc., leading our society to spiritual degradation. We have lost the correct spiritual path, due to our immense egoism, sex abuse, greed and an increasing wickedness in all of us.

    13 but he who stands firm to the end will be saved. We must try to behave ourselves in an appropriate way, paying attention to our thoughts, words and actions, because we will be judged according to these three factors. Love must always be present within us.

    14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole World as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come. A new era of spiritual wisdom is now arising, in which a new spiritual knowledge will have to be known to man all around the World, in order to prepare him to experience a radical

spiritual change.

    15 So when you see standing in the holy place the abomination that causes desolation, spoken of through the prophet Daniel –let the reader understand-,

    16 then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.

    17 Let no one on the roof of his house go down to take anything out of the house.

    18 Let no one in the field go back to get his cloak.

    19 How dreadful it will be in those last days for pregnant women and nursing mothers!

    20 Pray that your flight not take place in the winter or on the Sabbath. The explanation corresponding to versicles fifteen through twenty is that whatever happens, we must always stand firm in the spiritual path in order to fulfill our evolutionary process. We must be aware of the existence of evil forces, that will always try to test us leading us astray. Also, try not to be attached to your personal belongings, in order to transcend more swiftly to higher spiritual planes.

    21 For then there will be great distress, unequaled from the beginning of the World until now, and never to be equaled again. Nowadays there is a great suffering in people all over the World, but we must remember that through suffering, we acquire endurance and evolve spiritually. Suffering is not pleasant for our mind and for our physical body, but it strengthens our spiritual being.

We must never lose faith in God, so that we can evolve spiritually in a more rapid manner. If our faith fades away, then we automatically start losing our spiritual connection with the Almighty. In darshans –spiritual visions- I have witnessed what happens when our faith weakens; our soul simply recedes from God's Light, and as a result of that, our soul is sunk into chaos and confusion and then we perceive life in an obscure and pessimistic way. There has to be acceptance to all our tests, keeping in mind that we must not be conformists, that is to say we must always do our best trying to solve our problems, having a strong faith in the God Almighty and surrendering us and all our difficulties to Him.

    22 If those days had not been cut short, no one would survive, but for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened.

    23 At that time if anyone says to you: Look, here is the Christ! or There he is! do not believe it.

    24 For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles to deceive even the elect, if that were possible. The explanation corresponding to versicles twenty three and twenty four can be found in versicle five.

    25 See, I have told you ahead of time.

    26 So, if anyone tells you, There he is, out in the desert, do not go out; or, Here he is, in the inner rooms, do not believe it. Remember to be aware of all

those false Christs.

    27 For as lightning that comes from the East is visible even in the West, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. The new prophet or the Messiah will incarnate, or maybe he has already incarnated. He will bring forward a new spiritual knowledge, though few people will be aware of that great moment because a great darkness is reigning on Earth. False Christs are appearing in this era of great spiritual awakening, creating great confusion in the people who are searching for genuine spiritual guidance, making them believe that are in the right spiritual path. It is very difficult to recognize the real Divine Messenger for this era, the real redeemer of humankind. Remember what Christ said 'for many are called, but few are chosen'. The chosen ones choose themselves through good actions, positive thoughts and righteous words. We must always be very positive, even when adverse circumstances are present in our lives. We must have a complete faith in God, totally surrendering ourselves to Him. Love, humbleness and service must be the foundation of our thoughts, words and actions, so that we can defeat and annihilate darkness within ourselves in order to attain spiritual liberation.

    28 Wherever there is a carcass, there the vultures will gather. A carcass is formed by putrid matter and this can be translated as a dark zone, like undesirable places where you can find drugs, alcohol, sex, etc. There, people in search of that kind of experiences will gather (the vultures).

    29 Immediately after the distress of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from the sky, and the heavenly bodies will be shaken. This means that there will be a great unbalance in nature created by the disorder and unbalance in man's thoughts, words and actions.

    30 At that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and all the nations of the Earth will mourn. They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky, with power and great glory. This is only a metaphor, which describes the spiritual nature of the Messiah.

    31 And He will send His angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather His elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.

    32 Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out, you know that summer is near. We must be on the watch, because there will be signs indicating us that we are now entering into a great new spiritual era.

    33 Even so, when you see all these things, you know that it is near, right at the door.

    34 I tell you the truth, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened.

    35 Heaven and Earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away. Jesus' prophetic words were of a high spiritual caliber.

    36 No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the son, but only the Father.

    37 As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son Of Man.

    38 For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark;

    39 and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. The majority of people living on Earth will not realize the greatness of this time until it is too late. We must realize by now, based on all this information, that we are living in what Christ called the 'End of Times'. This is a precious era, full of Grace, in which our spirits can evolve at a tremendous speed.

    40 Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left.

    41 Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left. Christ said: 'for many are called, but few are chosen'. As I mentioned before, the chosen ones choose themselves through good actions, positive thoughts and righteous words, based in their love towards everything and everyone, nevertheless many will not be aware of the importance of this precious era.

    42 Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come. We must always be ready for the arrival of a Great Soul that has to

come to Earth to give correction to the old spiritual paths given to humanity in the past and to reestablish the long forgotten Yugadharma –Spiritual Law of this era- bringing up a new spiritual path, which will lead us towards liberation.

    43 But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into.

    44 So you also must be ready, because the Son Of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect Him.

    45 Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom the master has put in charge of the servants in his household to give them their food at the proper time?

    46 It will be good for that servant whose master finds him doing so when he returns.

    47 I tell you the truth, he will put him in charge of all his possessions.

    48 But suppose that servant is wicked and says to himself, 'my master is staying away a long time,

    49 and he then begins to beat his fellow servants and to eat and drink with drunkards.

    50 The master of that servant will come on a day and at an hour he is not aware of.

    51 He will cut him into pieces and assign him a place with the hypocrites,

where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. The explanation corresponding to versicles forty two through fifty one, is that we must entirely take advantage of our time to evolve, not wasting it, because each instant of our lives can be in our favor, or if we act negatively, that instant can be against us. It is up to us to maintain ourselves always in the correct spiritual track and for that it is very important to have God in our mind at all time, in whatever action you perform –walking, jogging, driving, eating, resting, going on vacation, even when while reading, when we change the page of a book, we must think in the Almighty. By doing this, we create a bond with his energy, we connect ourselves to His Light and, in this way, our soul, mind and body can vibrate at a superior level of Light, which will bring about a faster spiritual evolution. Another benefit derived from this, is that by being in a superior level of vibration, we will tend to have more elevated thoughts, words and actions and as a consequence our soul will evolve more swiftly.

    Bear in mind that at the 'End of Times', a Great Soul will come to redeem humanity, through the establishment of a new spiritual path that will guide us towards spiritual fulfillment. We must always be ready to evolve. Love, humility, honesty, disinterested or altruistic service to others, peace and harmony must be present in all our thoughts, words and actions in order to evolve more rapidly.

CONCLUSION

    It is a great opportunity to be incarnated nowadays on this Earth, in this precious era, because this gives us the opportunity to increase our evolution at a tremendous rate. Millions and millions of years had to pass until the arrival of this invaluable era, in which there prevails a lot of suffering, which is necessary to strengthen, purify and rectify our souls. In the past, a vast number of Great Spiritual Beings took birth to correct past spiritual errors, giving us the necessary spiritual instructions to attain spiritual liberation, but only few people listened to them and in addition these Great Souls could not fulfill their missions. At present, we live in an era called Kaliyuga, the age of spiritual liberation, in which a Great Soul must take birth, or maybe He has already taken birth, to reestablish the correct Yugadharma –Divine Law or spiritual instructions for this era- giving people the opportunity of attaining final liberation. Find that Great Redeemer and follow fervently and with full abandonment his precious and unequalled path.
