Buddhist Belief
"Listen attentively with one heart. A man whose spirit shines brightly, a man whose mind is completely unified, a man whose virtue excels everyone's, such a man will truly appear in this World. When he preaches precious laws, all the people will totally be satisfied, as if the thirsty treated to drink of sweet drops of rain from heaven. And each and every one will attain the path of liberation from struggles."

In 'The Gospel of Buddha' compiled by Paul Carus
and published by the Publications Division, Govt. of India, it can be
read that the Buddha had predicted that a great Guru by the name
'Kindness' or 'Karuna' will manifest in due time to reveal the Eternal
Truth, establishing a pure and perfect lineage of human race to this World
(Page 210, Mettayya).
Before the passing away of the Buddha, Ananda the principal disciple of the Buddha, asked the blessed one suppressing his tears, "Who will teach us when you are gone?" The blessed one replied, "I am not the first Buddha who came upon the Earth, nor shall I be the last. In due time, another Buddha will arise in the World, a holy one, a supremely enlightened one, endowed with wisdom in conduct, auspicious, knowing the Universe, an incomparable leader of men,
